there's a cabin in idyllwild called iris. my best friend and i escaped to her for a night. we read outloud the self help books iris provided and stayed up late watching random youtube interviews while laying on our heating pads.
an original mixed media painting, 14 inches
starting with raw unstretched canvas, i layer watercolor, acrylic paint and pastels until it feels done...and then i layer and layer some more.
